Elevating and enhancing a brand and building lasting awareness for the future
The Opportunity
Cabra Dominican College is a Catholic co-educational school for Years 7–12, known for its inclusive and supportive environment.
To support its new brand positioning – True Possibility – Cabra set out to highlight the full scope of what it offers, from academic diversity to modern facilities and strong Catholic values, creating an environment where every student can excel.
This required a confident new design system and targeted advertising campaign to build awareness, reshape perceptions, and position Cabra as a school of excellence in the minds of those in the market for a school for their child.
Our Approach
The brand look and feel needed to be unique to Cabra, but act as a seamless extension of the existing identity.
It required a flexible and adaptive approach, with only a logo and colour palette to work with, we created a cohesive brand identity centred around the brand positioning – True Possibility.
The look and feel took cues from the Cabra grounds, utilising shapes that provided a strong link to Cabra’s heritage. The typography of ‘True Possibility’ included both a traditional script typeface for ‘True’ to reflect what has come before, while a modern sans serif typeface for ‘Possibility’ speaks to the future. An asterisk, taken from the crest, implies that the opportunities are without end.
Our approach included:
- Building a brand and campaign system under True Possibility
- Developing new messaging and narrative
- Creating animations to support the digital advertising
- Delivering a cost-effective advertising schedule that introduced new touchpoints and supported a strong, multi-channel rollout across print, digital and outdoor
- Delivering the school’s first ever Meta campaign
- Expanding their media reach and campaign visibility
The Outcome
We have elevated Cabra’s presence to stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
- In just two months, the Meta campaign generated over 667,606 impressions, driving 348 leads to the website
- The website has been refreshed with enhanced design that keeps Cabra competitive alongside other private schools
- Awareness is expanding across new channels, including bus backs, Goodwood Road signage, and both print and online digital publications, showcasing the school’s new positioning and supporting enrolments
- We developed easy-to-use templates for EDM and social media, allowing the school to communicate efficiently
- Comprehensive brand guidelines were delivered, providing a strong foundation to confidently carry the brand forward into the future.
