Andrea is an experienced public relations strategist with a specialist track record in brand management, issues and crisis communication, media profiling and strategic business development.

Andrea has played a lead role in the design, development and implementation of local and national communication campaigns for the Royal Queensland Show,, Bank of Queensland, South Bank Corporation, Macquarie Real Estate Capital, Westpac, Arts Queensland, Lend Lease, Stanbroke Pastoral Company, the RNA and Brisbane Showgrounds.

As a former political media adviser at both state and federal levels of government, Andrea also has broad experience in delivering strategic communication and media publicity programs for the public sector and a firm grasp of ministerial and departmental inter-government relations.

She led the consultancy team for delivery of all project communications for the Queensland Government’s $260 million Millennium Arts Project, which included the international and national architectural design competitions for the new Galley of Modern Art and redeveloped State Library of Queensland as well as strategic communications throughout the consultation, construction and delivery of these buildings.

Andrea also has significant experience in corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement and reputation management, having headed-up BOQ’s corporate affairs and investor relations divisions at a tumultuous time in the bank’s history and prior to this through her work with Westpac’s community engagement and corporate communications divisions.

Andrea has been recognised and awarded for her work throughout her 22-year professional career.
