When St John’s Grammar School partnered with communikate et al in 2007, we immediately started to play an integral part in the school’s marketing communications activities. The highly respected co-educational Anglican school, which is located in the Adelaide Hills, caters to pre-schoolers through to Year 12s.
Many projects were undertaken for the school during our partnership, with the consistent objective of raising the profile of the school and attracting more students, while continuing to retain existing students from Junior to Senior years.
Initially, St John’s Grammar School engaged communikate et al to undertake an intensive year-long marketing and communications campaign. The campaign included market research, brand development, redesigning marketing collaterals, website and newsletter copywriting and coordination and all internal and external school presentation materials.
Following on from this major project, communikate et al continued to conduct biennial market research and benchmarking surveys to inform future marketing strategy and school investments. In addition, external marketing collaterals such as the website and e-newsletter were regularly overhauled to maintain effectiveness.
In 2009, communikate et al helped the school’s Board establish a Foundation. The launch involved the development of a brand identity and logo, the production and copywriting of collaterals and sponsorship proposals, as well as a VIP launch event.
Supporting the marketing projects, a sustained and strategic publicity campaign kept the school and its achievements in the public eye. Appearing on radio, TV, print and online, the school’s students and staff continued to enjoy a steady presence through high-profile media opportunities.
