A huge congratulations to communikate et al Consultant Amber Thompson who took out the South Australian Best Emerging Practitioner of the year award at the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) Golden Target Awards this week.
A valued communikate et al team member since 2010, 25 year old Amber was recognised by her industry peers last night for her commitment to excellence in communications and her attitude of tenacity, diligence and determination.
“Since graduating from Uni SA with a PR degree in 2009, I’ve been passionate about working in the communications industry and have never stopped striving for knowledge and experience”, said Amber.
I get such a thrill from generating outstanding results for my clients and knowing that I’m really making a difference to the way their organisations are perceived.”
communikate et al Managing Director, Kate Hannemann said it was evident the minute Amber walked through the door that she had the necessary fire in her belly to succeed in a fast paced, high pressure industry.
“Amber demonstrated creativity and passion right from the start,” said Kate.
She was willing to take an entry-level position and use the opportunity to listen and learn, exposing her outstanding work ethic and her suitability for more senior roles.
We’re really proud to have her as a member of our team and we thoroughly entrust her with the reputation of our agency.”
Amber will go on to compete at the national Golden Target awards to be announced in Sydney next month.
